Kelly Pollard
Telehealth Administrator, BayCare Health System
Kelly Pollard is the Telemonitoring Administrator within the Ambulatory Telehealth Division at BayCare Health System. She has been with BayCare since 2007, starting as a field clinician with the HomeCare division. During her time with BayCare, she has helped to develop and launch the telemonitoring team, collaborated with multiple post-acute care teams across the health system, and reduced hospital readmissions since the program's launch in 2017. BayCare's telemonitoring program allows them to reach our high-risk patients in their 13-county service area with the click of a button. In recognition of these efforts, Kelly was awarded the Daisy Nurse Leader Award in 2019. Their telehealth program initiatives were also recognized during BayCare’s annual Quality Sharing Day event, in which quality improvement initiatives are highlighted and congratulated. The telemonitoring program received clinical outcome and delivery awards in the 2019 and 2020 Quality Sharing Day events for their continued success.
Kelly is a graduate of Polk Community College, majoring in nursing. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Walden University, after which she plans to pursue a Master's degree in Nursing. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, taking trips to the beach, and going on long walks.
