Melinda is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Provider Solutions, Inc. (HPS). Melinda and Mark Cannon founded the company in April 2001 to provide financial, reimbursement, clinical and cost reporting services to the home health, hospice and rehabilitation therapy industries. Melinda’s priority remains bridging the gap between clinical and financial issues in home health agencies. She is a speaker for multiple state home care associations and serves on the NAHC-HHFMA Work Group and is ex-officio on the Advisory Board. She is also the author of The Home Health Pocket Guide to OASIS-C1.

Mark J. Neuberger is of counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice as well as the Health Care Industry Team. Mr. Neuberger also serves on Foley’s national Pro Bono Legal Services Committee. His practice involves the representation of management in all areas of employment law including general labor and employment guidance to clients. Glenda is a registered nurse with extensive experience in the home care industry. Glenda started her home care career in Nashville, Tennessee providing visits to patients in a variety of settings from very rural to inner city areas. Glenda learned early that Home Health is not for everyone and you either love it or cannot do it. Glenda is founder, owner and primary registered nurse consultant for Alternatives, A Consulting and Education Service. Her company provides expertise in consulting services to health care organizations throughout the United States and she is a recognized expert in the areas of federal and various state regulatory compliance requirements, fraud and abuse issues, preparation of clinical defense documentation for appeals, as well as corporate compliance planning, program development, education and implementation. Her company specializes in accreditation preparation for all three recognized accrediting entities. She is a featured speaker on both state and national levels and is known for her relaxed speaking manner and for bringing laughter to the presentation. She holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing and a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration. She is a published author of several articles relative to current health and home care issues. Glenda believes that humor can be found in all situations encountered in life and business, even in the federal and state government’s ever-changing requirements for compliance for home health organizations.

J’non Griffin is a 30 year veteran of home care as an RN. She received her Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration in 2005.  She has experience as a field nurse, director and executive with home health and hospice agencies, both large and small. She has served as Director of Staff Development and Appeals for home health and hospice agencies. She has taken part in mock surveys for agencies, and prepared agencies for accreditation. She has been directly involved in accreditation surveys, acquisitions and many regulatory crises with state survey agencies and the intermediary.

Lani is a partner in the law firm of Brach Eichler L.L.C., concentrating her practice in the health law practice group. She provided legal counsel to the Home Care Association of New Jersey for a number of years, and regularly provides legal advice and counsel to health care  clients, including home health agencies and hospices, on regulatory compliance matters, including HIPPA compliance and corporate compliance. She also handles purchase and sale transactions, provides guidance on corporate governance issues and provides general business advice.

Matt joined FHS SeniorCare Payment Solutions® in 2014 as CEO and board member.  Matt has 18 years of general management, business development and corporate finance experience, with a focus on financial services, healthcare and technology. Prior to joining FHS, Matt was the founder and managing partner of January Partners, a private investment firm focused on healthcare revenue cycle, software and tech-enabled services opportunities.  Previously, Matt led the operations of Payliance, an accounts receivable management and payment processing business with more than 10,000 customers.  Matt also led sales and business development for a SaaS healthcare software company.  Matt earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he double majored in Economics and Psychology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.   He lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and two young daughters.

Merrily is an expert marketing strategist, multiple award-winning business leader, community activist and serial entrepreneur based in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a pioneer in the home care industry, creating a geriatric care managed model for non-medical long term in-home care in 1981. She recently served as the Chief Strategic Officer for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) for their private duty affiliate, the Private Duty Homecare Association of America (PDHCA), an affiliate she had chaired and served for several years on their advisory board. Nationally, she is a sought after speaker, contributes articles in several national business and senior care publications, produces home care educational materials and actively works on planning conferences. Orsini holds a Masters degree from the University of Louisville.

TERESA L. LEE J.D., M.P.H.

Teresa is the Executive Director of the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation. Teresa joined the “Alliance" in June 2011. As a graduate of Harvard University's School of Public Health and with formal training as an attorney, Teresa is a recognized professional in the fields of Medicare reimbursement and health law and policy. She delivers a thorough understanding of the critical intersection between health policy, health care reform, and the law to her presentations. Teresa strives to support skilled home health’s critical and valuable role as the U.S. health care delivery system changes to improve both the quality and efficiency of patient-centered care. Teresa has a strong background in health care policy and association management experience. Prior to her work for the Alliance, Teresa served as Senior Vice President at the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) in Washington D.C. Her career at AdvaMed included her tenure as Vice President and Associate Vice President of Payment and Health Care Delivery Policy. Teresa has also served as a Senior Counsel in the Office of the Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Teresa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California-Berkeley; a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard University’s School of Public Health; and a law degree from The George Washington University Law School.

Erik is the Chief Operations Officer for Home Care Pulse.  Before joining Home Care Pulse, Erik spent eighteen years working with a global consumer products company covering sales, marketing, customer support, and operation. He joined Home Care Pulse after a friend told him that it was a fast company focused on serving people. Erik has a master’s degree in business management from Idaho State University, and he loves using his knowledge and experience to help others succeed and organize chaos into functioning systems and processes. 

AMANDA MARTIN

Amanda is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and received the Outstanding Senior Student award upon graduation. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Chi National College Honor Societies.  She started her nursing career as a Senior Staff Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. In 2009, Amanda transitioned to an Infusion Specialist Registered Nurse at Barnes Healthcare Services in Valdosta. Amanda was presented with the opportunity to build the chronic disease management and readmission reduction program, Healthy at Homeâ„¢, for Barnes Healthcare Services in 2012. She has been intricate in the program’s success and currently works as the Director of Sales for Chronic Care Services at Barnes Healthcare Services.
